Music is basically nothing without a few components; lyrics, compositions, the act and the instrumentals. Everyone knows that the final piece of music is the magical touch of a record producer. They are the unseen but the most respected in music.

The failure and success of an artist used to be based on the artist himself and his producer but now, in a world where lyrics is nothing, the producer tends to be the lone wolf. And in appreciation of good music, The Critic Bay shines a spotlight on one of Ghana’s true gem.

A producer who basically sees into the soul of a listener and curate and awesome sound which pierces the hardest of musical hearts and sets abode in the souls of a dying fan. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, iPappy.

iPAPPY IN THE STUDIO

Prince Fosu, the currently crowned “Producer of the year” at the Kumasi Awards Night is a born prodigy whose knack for music drove him to the point of success.
It’s not surprise that he idolizes the great Ryan Leslie; a multi instrumentalist and a highly sought after producer. iPappy is a strongly respected sensation who isn’t just good with the board, but also a good counselor of making beautiful music.

And his hard work is a true testimony in the eyes of all.

With the heart of gold, iPappy has helped raise a lot of artists, predominantly in the Ashanti Region. In fact when it comes to the few acts that raised the name and up most respect for the Kumasi sound, iPappy is a name no one skips. He has basically produced and fathered a few acts that have honed bangers upon bangers.

The underground scene is not his dome. iPappy has also solidified a strong name for himself in the commercial scene. He has produced a lot of club bangers and critically acclaimed hip hop songs for Ghanaian listeners.

Under his belt, he has worked with the likes of Sista Afia, Medikal, Stonebwoy, Ko-Jo Cue, Shaker, Jesse Jagz from Nigeria, E.L, Edem, Dj Slim and a few acts.

HOW IS IPAPPI VERY POWERFUL BUT SUPER LOW KEY?

Currently he is working on a big project with the current biggest name in African hip hop, South Africa’s very own, Nasty C and Tellaman.

Now tell me this, with an impressive feat and awesome looks that can pass as a model, why is such an artist very quiet and super low key? Passion. iPappy has my respect just because of that. I have seen a few producers make a banger and be all over the place like a “KOD troll jab” but this guy cares less about that. The drive to ensure someone’s win is all he cares about and even to me, it’s very weird. My biggest respect to him.

Oh I almost forgot this. iPappy is one of the few people who were able to turn a viral sensation into a city classed act. He basically produced a song for a viral sensation, “POPPING & LAUGHING” and trust me when I say this, the instrumentals is just on a space level.

Let me end this on a high note. I totally appreciate people who love what they do and want to ensure the total success of others. He isn’t perfect but knowing iPappy’s superficial ability is totally worth it.

I urge y’all to support greatness by following him on his Facebook page and also follow him on Instagram , Twitter and his Soundcloud for awesome music. Also you can reach him for your awesome music crafting on +233243420522
